We are delighted to invite you to contribute a chapter to our forthcoming edited book, provisionally titled Sustainable Business Practices in Developing Economies – Decolonizing the SDGs. The publishing agreement for this significant project has been officially approved by Macmillan Palgrave (Springer Nature). No publication fee will be charged.
The editors of this volume are Dr. Justin Paul, Dr. Dhanya Alex, Dr. Binoy Thomas, and Dr. Jino Johny M.
This book critically examines sustainable business in developing economies, highlighting innovative, technology-driven strategies for the SDGs. It offers new perspectives by linking theory and practice, showcasing local solutions. It critically analyses mainstream sustainability and the SDG framework in the Global South, exploring barriers and the impact of emerging technologies, grounded in decolonial thought for a more inclusive future.
The chapters in this edited book will explore themes including, but not limited to:

Submission Guidelines
Interested authors are invited to submit an abstract of their proposed chapter (400 -500 words) along with a brief author biography (100-150 words) to [email protected] by May 31, 2025. The abstract should clearly articulate your chapter’s main argument, its contribution to the book’s themes, and its methodological approach. We will provide an initial response on acceptance, rejection, request for revisions, of your abstract within 5 days of submission.
Full book chapters, consisting of 5000 – 6000 words (including bibliography, and tables), should be submitted by August 17, 2025.
